John Crane has opened its newly relocated service centre in Mobile, Alabama, USA.

Located on the west side of Mobile Bay, the new service centre will allow John Crane to support customers to the east of Pensacola, Florida, west to Pascagoula, Mississippi, and north to Tuscaloosa, Alabama. It also enhances John Crane’s local service and support network for customers in markets such as petrochemical, oil and gas, and pulp and paper.

“John Crane has been supporting customers in the Southeast region of North America for more than 40 years,” said Guy Woodworth, John Crane’s director Sales and Service, US Gulf. “The move to a larger facility is a testament to the business growth and customer relationships we have established and allows us to support our long-term growth vision by continuing to invest in local infrastructure and talent.”

“The performance and functionality of our customers’ operations depend on us for a highly responsive service to increase uptime, reduce maintenance costs whenever possible and help them maintain environmentally safe operations,” said Stefano Rossi, John Crane vice president North America, Sales and Service. “And as part of our commitment to them, we are making it our mission to strengthen our service capabilities around the world and strategically build out our strong global footprint of more than 200 facilities.”
