WEFTEC opens registration with virtual option
The Water Environment Federation (WEF) has opened registration for those attending WEFTEC 2020 in person and has expanded its offering to include a new virtual event, WEFTEC Connect.
WEFTEC 2020, the 93rd annual technical exhibition and conference for water quality professionals, will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana, from 3–7 October as planned and those who wish to attend in person can now register for the event. The Early Bird registration rate is available until 24 July.
Organisers believe that during these challenging times it is even more important that the sector continues to learn and engage, so this year they are offering WEFTEC in hybrid form with both in person activities with virtual components or a fully virtual event, called WEFTEC Connect. In person registration also allows access to WEFTEC Connect.
The new virtual event offering will provide access to selected live-stream and pre-recorded content, as well as a virtual exhibitor showcase and virtual networking opportunities. WEFTEC Connect will also offer year-round access to WEFTEC content and contacts.
Registration for WEFTEC Connect opens on 2 June and the latest information about in person or virtual activities is available on the WEFTEC website.
