Group executive changes at Weir
The Weir Group plc chief technology officer Geetha Dabir is to leave the company at the end of the year after three years in the role.
While at Weir, Dabir developed the group’s new technology agenda and built the foundations for its digital platforms.
Weir has also made two new appointments to its group executive that the company says strengthen its focus on sustainability and technology.
Paula Cousins, currently group head of strategy & sustainability, will become Weir’s chief strategy and sustainability officer.
Chief information officer (CIO) Garry Fingland will also join the Weir group executive with responsibility for group-wide information and technology systems including the group’s digital products.
Both appointments are effective from 1 January 2020.
